2024 is almost over. Wow, it went fast!
With 112 projects under our belt, this year has been one of non-stop activity, achievements, and solid progress for MORFRAC.
We’ve focused on doing what we do best: staying true to our craft, earning and keeping the trust of our clients, and steadily expanding our products and services with the needs of fellow sailors at heart.
A big year for powerfurl.
Our powerfurl. range had some standout moments this year. The spotlight shone on powerfurl.[one], the smallest in the family and one of the best-sellers together with the powerfurl.[three] in its single-line drum version. These updates have reinforced powerfurl.'s reputation for precision, reliability and performance.
morfblock. - Simple yet sophisticated
Once again, the morfblock. proved its versatility, with a bunch of custom projects tailored especially for medium-to-large yachts.
With materials like carbon and titanium, we’ve achieved incredibly low weights and top-notch performance (all at an unbeatable price point, that must be said too!). morfblocks offer simplicity, strength, and reliability, making them the top choice for demanding setups.
A new face for MORFRAC online
2024 also saw the launch of our brand-new webpage and a completely revamped webshop at www.morfrac.com/shop. Designed to be more user-friendly, intuitive, and visually engaging, it’s now easier than ever for sailors and business clients to explore our products, learn about our services, and place orders seamlessly. This year, we’ve produced thousands of morfrings. and dogbones., many of them personalised to meet the unique needs of our clients. Whether shaped, branded, or crafted from custom materials, these components have found their way onto both high-performance racing yachts and local cruisers.

Design-to-Manufacturing: the full package
This year has highlighted the strength of our design & manufacturing solutions. The projects have been as varied as they come: rudders, propellers, keels, bulbs, water ballast systems, moulds, pignoses... to name a few! But it’s not just about what we’ve engineered or produced; it’s how we’ve done it.
For our client's complete peace of mind, we handle everything: from crafting bespoke designs and preparing production drawings to reverse-engineering and providing real-time project updates.
METSTRADE and the morfwing.
November brought another successful outing at METSTRADE in Amsterdam. Great show, as usual, and we officially launched the morfwing. A semi-rigid, twin-skinned wing on a rotating mast, designed for you to
sail higher and faster, experiencing superior upwind precision and exceptional downwind speeds, all while staying safely in control. We aim at bringing wing technology to all sailors. And the buzz at METS confirmed that we are on the good path!
Supporting the spirit of Sailing
Our support for the Mini 6.50 Palma-Melilla-Palma Regatta has been one of the most fulfilling parts of the year. An amazing regatta, featuring 34 boats in strong winds and high seas! By sponsoring such an event and nurturing young sailors, we wanted to contribute growing the culture and values of sailing, and inspiring the next generation of sailors. To celebrate, we awarded prizes to top finishers and offered discount vouchers to all participants, reinforcing the camaraderie that define the sport of sailing.
